Program Evaluation

Navin Associates has designed and led successful independent, third-party evaluations of programs operated by city departments, higher education institutions, not-for-profit organizations and complex collaborations, with funding from many federal departments and national foundations. Our approach is inclusive, transparent and thorough.

  • Our process evaluations:
    • Track progress toward project milestones;
    • Provide recommendations to improve the project.
  • Our outcome evaluations include:
    • Outcomes and indicators developed with the client;
    • Efficient data collection tools;
    • A clearly articulated analysis plan;
    • A comprehensive final report that exceeds funding source requirements.
  • We have experience dealing with institutional review boards for the protection of human subjects.

How We Work with Coalitions and Collaborations

  • Establish relationships and systems, including an evaluation committee, that will facilitate the collection of necessary data
  • Agree upon outcome indicators and measures of success
  • Ask participating organizations to collect only what we cannot
  • Ensure organizations receive needed information and training
  • Obtain feedback from participating organizations on draft findings and final report
