Grant Writing

Navin Associates specializes in large federal and state grant applications. Although each scope of services is tailored to the client’s particular circumstances, generally Navin Associates will assist the client team to:

  • Analyze the parameters, terminology and priorities of the RFP/NOFA and agree on a strategy for responding;
  • Identify the required tasks, the distribution of assignments, and a timetable;
  • Develop/modify a program design, including the roles of collaborating organizations as needed;
  • Coordinate meetings/conference calls; document decisions; monitor completion of assignments;
  • Write and edit drafts with input from client team;
  • Ensure final draft is ready on schedule for internal approval and submission by client.

Navin Associates has conducted several workshops on federal grant writing for Associated Grant Makers, Inc. and has worked with multiple community-based organizations to increase their in-house capacity to identify opportunities for funding and write successful grants.
